The studio

Fashion is motion caught mid-sentence. I photograph the half-second where the garment stops being fabric and becomes a character.

Deniz Arel works between Istanbul and Paris, shooting film and digital for magazines and maisons. The practice is small on purpose: one photographer, one light, no committee.
